My site doesn't renew for several days. Why was I billed already?

We make this charge to your account several weeks before the account is due to expire automatically in our system. However, your account cycle still reflects the renewal date, and not the date you paid the account. The reason we do this is to avoid any downtime of your site. In case there is a billing problem on your account, then this gives you time to update payment methods or make arrangements.
